PROGRAM &
ADMISSION STANDARDS
The Zomi Theological College mainly works on two degree
programs, Bachelor of Theology, BTh, Master of Divinity, M
Div, and also offers three special degree programs: Bachelor
of Religious Education, BRE, Bachelor of Ministry, B Min,
and Master of Religions Education, MRE. |

Admissions:
1 Only matriculates in the “A” category are eligible for the
four year BTh course.
1.1. Mature candidates who already passed diploma course and
BEHS examination are admitted into the third year class.
2 Bachelor holders are eligible for the three year M Div
course, started in 2002.
3 Bachelor holders are admitted to the two year BRE program
started in 1991, ten hours a week.
4 One year BMin program specially designed for pastors
started 1997.
5 BRE degree holders are offered two year MRE program [2004]
ten hours a week.
Screening Students
1. The faculty council serves the screening committee, that
confirmed by the Board of Trustees.
2. Only the candidates who have been baptized are allowed to
apply for admission to the college.
3. Supporting documents accompanying applications:
(a) two recent passport photographs
(b) recommendations: one from his/her church; one from
his/her association
(c) photocopy certificate: BEHS Pass; if admitted, the
original copy needs to be shown to the Principal.
(d) An up-to-date medical report
(e) A letter of financial undertaking for the whole course
of studies
(f) Application fee of K1000 non-refundable.
All the prospective candidates are required to be present at
the personal interview with the faculty members at the
scheduled time before they attend their first class session.
All correspondence concerning application should be
addressed to the Registrar, Zomi Theological College, Falam,
Chin State 03031 Myanmar. When an application for study is
accepted, a notice of approval will be sent immediately.
